The 24 year old daughter of the American Family in the Netherlands who is a psychology studen at Leidse University started a blog to document the discrimination and stalking.
However the Rijsnburg police summoned the daughter from school and held her for over 3 hours for questioning. She is accused of trying to instil hatered. The daughter has been threatened with prosecution. Now I have taken over this site and I am going to try to help this family find justice.

Ik heet _ _ _ _ Collins. Ik ben een alleenstaande Amerikaanse moeder woonachtend in Nederland met mijn 5 jonge kinderen. Wij worden ernstig gestalked en geterroriseerd door een man in onze buurt. Ik smeek U om hulp zodat ik mijn kinderen kan beschermen van verdere mishandeling. Dit is een levensbedreigende situatie geworden.
Het was allemaal begonnen op 7 januari 2000, een week nadat wij verhuisd waren naar de Molenkamp in Rijnsburg, een klein dorp werkend in de bloembollen factor. Een man uit de buurt en zijn vrienden vertelden mij dat wij niet welkom waren in de buurt omdat ik had 3 zwarte geadopteerde kinderen heb die oorlog wezens zijn uit Afrika. Hij riep herhaaldelijk vloeken tegen mijn kinderen dat ze “Zwarte Bos Apen” zijn en noemt mij regelmatig een “Kut Amerikaan” en een “Neger Zoener.” Ik kan niet geloven dat er nog steeds zoveel haat heerst in dit land alleen gebaseerd op de kleur van iemands huid en hun geloof.
Op 26 augustus 2006 is Hij mijn huis binnengedrongen en heeft mij in elkaar geslagen waar mijn kinderen bijstonden. Deze incident hebben wij opgenomen. U kunt hem bekijken op: (video removed by order of the judge June 23 2011)
Op 5 februari 2007 heeft hij mij in mijn gezicht gemept toen ik in mijn eigen tuin stond te vegen. Ik heb medische hulp ontvangen voor een hersenschudding.
Toen mijn kinderen alleen thuis waren met de oppas, kwam Hij hun achteraan. Mijn kinderen renden krijsend het huis in. Hij ging door tegen hen te schreeuwen voor ons huis. Hij dreigde hun “Ik knijp je keel dicht totdat je geen Amen meer kunt zeggen” en hij zei dat hij hun “zal verdrinken in je eigen bloed.” Hij maakte mijn kinderen bang door te zeggen dat als hij hun ooit buiten zien aan het fietsen dat hij hun gaat overrijden met zijn auto en dan zou hij de politie vertellen dat het een ongeluk was want hij kon zijn rem ‘niet vinden’. Mijn dochter heeft dit incident en veel andere dreigementen gefilmd zodat wij de terrorisatie van deze man kunnen bewijzen. Op 23 november 2008 heeft Hij de achterruit van mijn auto ingeslagen waar getuigen bij stonden.
En maar een paar dagen geleden op 13 juni 2009 zat mijn dochter in het achterpad wachtend op mij om de poort te openen zodat zij de skelter weg kon zetten. Hij kwam plotseling uit de tuin van de buren en stond over mijn dochter en fluisterde dat hij haar zou vermoorden. Ik deed de poort gelijk open en begon te schreeuwen dat hij weg van mijn dochter moest en haar moest op laten staan.
- Onze fietsen, auto, kinderspeelgoed, tuin, ramen, enz. worden continue beschadigd en kapot gemaakt. Onze konijnen zijn vermoord in hun eigen kooien (eentje werd verdronken in een kleine vijver in onze voortuin.)
- Onze vissen zijn de vijver uitgehaald en rond onze tuin gestrooid.
- Hij vangt regelmatig onze poes en brengt haar zijn huis binnen. Hij zegt dat hij het doet omdat wij haar geen eten geven en hij beweert dat hij voor haar moet zorgen. Het is erg veronrustellend voor mij en mijn kinderen.
De politie zegt dat ze ons niet kunnen helpen omdat er geen (of te weinig) getuigen waren.
Nu dat mijn kinderen en ik zo enorm bang zijn van Hij, is het moeilijk om uitteleggen de consequente angst dat wij ervaren zelfs door kleinere treiteringen.
Soms rent Hij ons achteraan en roept: “RAH” of hij verstopt zich achter de bosjes en springt voor ons en roept: “BOE.” Mijn kinderen en ik schrikken en vaak beginnen te huilen. Dan begint Hij te lachen en zegt dat het “alleen maar een grapje” was. De politie zegt dat er niets is wat zij kunnen doen omdat hij ons die keer niet heeft aangeraakt.
Ik weet niet hoe ik moet uitleggen dat deze man ons leven verwoest. Ik heb geprobeerd hulp te vinden bij de Rijnsburgse politie. Soms nemen zij de aangiften wel op maar hun werk is zo slordig dat de Openbaar Ministeries zegt dat de dossier tegen Hij niet volledig genoeg is.
Ondanks dat ik niet wil hoeven vluchten, heb ik geprobeerd een ander huis te vinden. Nu begin ik wanhopig te worden en ik moet misschien drastisch handelen om mijn gezin te beschermen.
Wie kan mij alstublieft helpen om mijn kinderen te beschermen tegen dit monster. Ik zal alles doen om mijn kinderen te beschermen. Ik vrees dat het een echte levensbedreigende situatie is!

SOMEONE continues to stalk the Collins family
SOMEONE continues to stalk Collins and her children. He has followed Collins to Oegstgeest while she was driving alone with her children. He has contacted her new neighbors and tried to convince them that Collins is a problem neighbor. However Collins' new neighbors have seen the videos and realize that SOMEONE is the problem. SOMEONE has threatened Collins' young daughter that he is going to steal their cat and the child's cat will disappear forever.

SOMEONE Shatters Collin's Car Window
SOMEONE was angry because neighborhood children were throwing snowballs at his livingroom window. SOMEONE went outside and smashed in Collins car window in front of several witnesses. Collins filed a police report however they never sent the criminal complaint onto the district attorney.

American Refugee family on the run again.
Collins fled to the Netherlands in 1994 to escape the abuse from her ex-husband after he fractured her little boys skull. The father denies breaking the bones in the child’s head, yet the child reported to doctors that his father slammed him into a wall because he got out of bed. The child reported that he was scared when he heard his father hitting his mother and went to look when he heard his mommy crying for help.
Collins claims that she could not find protection in the United States and fled the country with her 3 children. She was arrested at Schipol airport for inadequate travel documentations. Collins requested political asylum. After an emergency hearing the Ministries of Justice decided that Collins had enough evidence to apply for asylum. Collins and her 3 young children spent 3 years in refugee camps, asylum centers and transitional housing. The family was the first Americans to ever be granted asylum in the Netherlands.
Collins became involved with a Dutch man and has children with them. She volunteered with 'war orphans' and the couple adopted several children from Africa. Collins takes the blame for the separation but didn't elaborate.
In 2000 Collins was allotted a house in Rijnsburg, a small religious community in the south of Holland. Collins testified that a week after she moved into the village she was approached by a neighbor and he warned that foreigners were not welcomed. Her adopted children reported that they were subjected to racial slurs such as "Nigger" and "jungle monkey" from SOMEONE and that he told them that they belonged in a zoo. For years Collins and her children were harassed, terrorized and physically assaulted by SOMEONE, his family and his friends.
Collins said that the abuse was so severe and bizarre that she was afraid that no one would believe her and her children. "The police said it was a 'he said/ she said' situation and that I didn't have any proof, so I bought a video camera to prove the terror my children and I were living in."
When Collins approached the police with her video tapes of SOMEONE threatening to "drown the children in their own blood" the local police accepted SOMEONES accounts that Collins antagonized him by video taping him on public property. Collins was warned by the police that if she video taped again she could be arrested for violating SOMEONE's privacy.
Despite the threats of prosecution, Collins continued video taping every altercation with SOMEONE. On one of the tapes it is clear to see that this SOMEONE forced his way into Collins home and attacked her and her children. A little Collins child can be heard in the tape questioning "mommy is it good that I was hiding?"
Early on in the tape SOMEONES child can be heard calling Collins a "Kutwijf" This is quite a difference in upbringing.
Despite the overwhelming evidence, the Rijnsburg police refused to accept ‘aangifts’. Collins continued to seek justice and contacted several agencies, slachtoffer hulp, slachtoffer informatie punt, the OM and "anyone I could find who would listen to my cries for help"
An investigation by the National Ombudsman revealed that the Rijnsburg Police erred by failing to properly process the aangifts. The District Attorney sent a letter confirming the mistakes from the police but regretted that too much time had passed to prosecute the specific SOMEONE.
With the help from Slachtoffer Informatie Punt. Den Haag, the Rijnsburg police was forced to accept an aangift for stalking against SOMEONE yet months later and the OM confirms that the Rijnsburg police still has not processed the complaint and have not forwarded it on to the OM.
Collins said that she had no choice but to flee Rijnsburg to protect her children. She has received an urgent declaration and has relocated to Oegstgeest.
